I don't really like it. Ofc, I also associate it with ads, specifically ads for big companies and sellers. I hate the colors, so matchy-matchy, when people asked for more skintones (inclusivity), they just straight up started making green/blue/yellow people (not real, but they rarely do actual skintones - beiges and browns are quite rare). I can recommend Solar Sands's vid on YT titled Why do ''corporate art styles'' feel fake?. He goes over great detail of the origin, the inspirations from actual real artists, and why it's suddenly creepy for us.

•it’s pretty much the reason why i hate myself as an artist bc this is the standard nowadays. this art style REEKS of corporatist dreams and expectations. it looks generic, bland and it’s overused. it looks so sappy that it lacks any soul or depth (figuratively and literally). there are some examples i see when i’m in a subway station where it’s filled with ads about our metro trains and these alegrian people frolicking about like they’re in some sort of utopian world or sumn like no, this subway stinks of piss and everyone’s either rude here or is a giant creep. i could go on and on about how much i hate this style but i’d end up writing a whole ass book so i’m not gonna do that i’m sorry hahahah

I feel I would appreciate the interesting use of shape & colour... If I didn't have to stare at it every day for work. It goes from being different to pretty soulless and empty and forgettable when just about every corporation under the sun has adopted something similar....
