Don't actually know any videos on organizing all that stuff, I just like watching trope talk by osp which talks about tropes in stories and how they've been done wrong or right
I just use jotter pad (app for phone my friend used at some point), which is really simple, but it let's you make folders and so I organize everything through that. Got one for what I want my story to be, one for each main character, one for important side characters, one for rough plot points etc.

i have some planning docs i made myself that i use, i could send them to you if you’d like! but other than that i also use a ‘dumping doc’ so whenever i have a line, quote, point, idea, scene, ANYTHING, i put it in that doc without worrying ab format or grammar or anything like that

•What I do is literally make a timeline with the main events and then from there fill it up with the least important events inbetween and then I write in points with some "character conversations" inbetween these points to get the vibe across.

•If you search for writing tools on itch.io, there are a lot of free programs for mapping out and organizing plots/worldbuilding! I highly recommend giving them a look. There are a ton, and they usually have their own unique features to organizing and building such.

I like Hello Future Me on YouTube. His videos are pretty good for figuring out plots and characters. He also has stuff on world building, making fictional lands, and dialog

I watch Abbie Emmons who does writers life wednesdays and she helps me a lot! I was stuck on the getting stuff to stick part and she helped me quite a bit

I have no idea i use notion to organize everything and have outlines and character pages. But also I have plot factory website bookmarked I've only used it a bit but its pretty nice imo

oh. videos. heh. sorry, my brain was haf way zoned out when i wrote ur text post, so i just gave you some advice. whoops. sorry. Idk any videos or websites that you could use, i jsut know how to do this from a lot of self taught experience and classes.

i'm just talking as someone with experience and has taken lit art and english language arts studie classes. i used to write a lot of chessy fanfic, don't judge, it was random.

oksy. I'm not a professional, but i've written a lot of stories. you just have to write. to organize you need a beginning middle end. so if you have an idea for the actual story that you can make a summary of it, and if not maybe try brainstorming with friends, think of backstory of characters, who the main one will be, how and where and when they meet, hwat point in their lives the story starts at, what you want the story to be about. i would suggest doing clustering just to get some ideas out of ur head and onto paper, and then fast writting. and then to help write the summary is you could write a one pager. if you want, I could share the story I've been writting so far to give you a valid idea or such, but it's not done yet and prob not the best. :)

•I'm no pro writer but Microsoft OneNote is really good for brainstorming, reference boards, mind maps, doodling/thumbnailing (on applicable devices like desktop or tablet), and of course actually writing.
I never tried notion but played around in milanote for a few mins before. I can see the appeal but they're a little more complicated and I think subscription based to use in a serious manner (correct me if wrong)? The thing about Onenote is it's basic and easy to understand but adaptable with what you can do with it and it's free to use (you don't have to be on a plan to get access to it like with Word)

•lotta people use notion to organize their world building. i prefer milanote cuz it’s more visual - like whiteboard/moodboards. more in depth world building tools like world anvil, campfire, legend keeper are more expensive/often overwhelming options.
