Whats the best information to put on an oc ref/info sheet? right now i got age, nationality, name, and personality what else should I add or what would you like to see on an info sheet

Name, pronouns, gender, species, & height are the things I find to be the most important!

If there's time skips or flashbacks, how do the characters look then,their name, outfit(s) age, gender, nationality(if they have one) species, if magick what type, possibly sexuality, other things I feel like are important

Include height for scale so they look consistent next to other characters. Any information that is very important for their story. If you didnât add a color palette do it so their base colors are always the same. If thereâs an object they use a lot add that to the reference sheet or make a sheet just for it if itâs a detailed item.

The best information is what you need later in the story for, or what needs to be consistent throughout all works with the character. That's what reference sheets are for, so you don't loose track of important details.

Maybe the colpur palette or ehhh.... Height or weight? Idk i don't make usually character sheets....

I put their name, age, gender, and a short paragraph that describes what they do and what their goal/problem is. There is a time and place for fun facts but the reference sheet to me is a place that a complete stranger can go and learn the most interesting thing about them in a direct and concise manner. Once the person has an interest in my OC, then I can follow it up with fun facts and random info elsewhere because at that point my viewer actually cares about the character

I like it when they explain something regardless of their outfit or devices that they wear or use, specially if those are draw in the character sheet

They have a crooked nose or clawless paws? Maybe a birthmark? Better mark it down somewhere on the sheet so people who'll use your reference wouldn't miss these or think they're just a quirk of your art style!
