What/who are your inspirations for becoming an artist? Is it you yourself, a family member, another artist, illustrator, mangaka, etc? Let’s chat :D (granted it is 1AM so I may or may not respond right away LOL)Apr 22, 2021

I had no friends, started playing Kingdom Hearts where friendship plays a big role. Started making an OC/self-insert and wanted to draw their adventures and here we are now :)
UNO REVERSE 🔁 Who or what would you say is your biggest inspiration for pursuing art? 👀
My mother and brother were big into art when I was a kid. Me and my brother would watch Dragon 🐉 Ball Z together. Then I eventually moved on to Sailor Moon and Kenshin lol
I think my inspiration for becoming an artist originated from when I was younger and would watch tv shows like art attack and blues clues.. it inspired and interested me more than anything else
I like this question. My inspiration for becoming an artist is my imagination. I have so many cool ideas for example, when I listen to a song and a particular phrase reminds me of an emotion that I would like to recreate through visual form. My current skill level is not at that level of satisfaction for myself, and so my goal of recreating emotions through art in a way that would make me say, “Yes! This is what I see when I feel this emotion!” really motivates me. I would also love to be able to show others the things that I see in my head.
A girl who gave a manga scetching session for us little elementary school students. I don’t even remember how she looked like ^-^" Just that I was really amazed how easily she scribbled those faces.
Other than that all the pictures in my head that I want to be able to create ^u^
I guess at the start nobody 🤔 but let me elaborare, I always loved to draw and always wanted to draw as a professional and I did not look up at anyone, beside cartoons or comics, BUT I with the years I did have many artists that I loved and inspired one of the big inspirations (since I draw mostly anime) was Takeshi Obata
My father. i had a vague memory of him being supportive of it. Thats why i drew my first ever oc Ro that i since changed so much
Definitely anime! The artist of Seraph of the End Yamato Yamamoto and the artists of Inazuma Eleven and Pokémon (couldn’t find the artists)
Honestly a huge inspiration for me was all the gorgeous cover art Michael Whelan did for the Dragonriders of Pern series... I wanted to be a book cover illustrator so bad at one point 😭💖
