Me just enjoying my silly little hobbies while the world is on fire.

I love the Animal Crossing series, but I haven't played City Folk. Don't have a Wii, so it'll probably be a while until I do. I just recently got Wild World and I really am enjoying it. I still play New Horizons, ofc, and I periodically check on my New Leaf town. I do really miss the "downtown" section of the map, but it's super nice to be able to decorate the island, so it's a fair trade, I feel.

Very excited for the rumors of an AC5, but not thrilled to hear it might be on the new switch system that is rumored to come out. We shall see what happens. c:

City folk was my least favorite animal crossing game. The wii controllers were not a good fit for the style of gameplay, imo, and the city thing was more of a gimmick. I think the original will always be my fave (followed closely by new leaf) because I liked the frequent fetch quests, rude animals, and the simpleness. Just a lot of nostalgia for it thanks to it being a big moment in my childhood. If you have an android or pc you can use citra/lemuroid and dolphin to emulate 3ds, ds, and gamecube. And you can play them all (unsure about wii games tho) if you can get your roms into the right file format and save them to the emulators (tutorials are online and it’s all free to do)
