Orphamel & Kalmiya - The Lovers
These two are very minor characters in Rising Darkness and main characters only meet them a handful of times.Kalmiya (the woman) is THE most powerful being in the universe and is the Grand Seer. The Seer of all Seers and she controls the fates of all and the wills of none. She is also Seraphina's youngest sister.
Orphamel (the man) is Kalmiya's knight, guardian, and eternal bond. He was trained from birth to be her protector. He didn't realize his love for Kalmiya until waaaaaaaaay later in his life and then became an awkward mess.
They are a friends to lovers trope. Or perhaps Noble and Protector to Lovers trope.Jan 12, 2022
