You know what I realized. This is the only platform I have anonymous enough for me to be honest about everything. Here I don't try to come up with good captions or anything. Better yet, I decided that this is the place where from time to time I can be honest about my mental health. I feel the need to just say it somewhere. Since I've been sharing my paintings it feels like I'm actively hiding it. I know that's not true but still. It's nice to just be honest. I have PTSD and I'm struggling. I have been into therapy a couple of times and it helped, I have a lot of good times. But that doesn't take away that I STRUGGLE. Painting for me is a way to quite my thoughts, breath and just put my head on pause. If you are struggling with the same thing please don't hesitate to reach out.

Just as a closing statement I want everyone to know that I'm safe and happy. I try to be open about this in my life, but I just can't on Instagram for example where my family might see. It's just not worth it.

Thanks for reading. You guys are the best

I’m so sorry you struggle with all of this❤️ I love your artwork and I’m happy it helps. Drawing always helps me to calm down and express myself :)
I feel the same way about not being able to be open about my mental health on Instagram!
I understand you, i have been through some traumatic events as well, and most of the time i struggle with mental health. I think it's a good thing that you can be honest about your feelings, expressing them through art is freeing in some ways. I'm glad that you feel secure enough to post about this on this social media, your art is amazing!
