30 meters laterI've been cutting out panels of three layers of a skirt. Two in regular matte white organza, and one in iridescent organza. Since it's a full length circle skirt over a hoopskirt and two petticoats (meaning the length is 145 to 155 cm + 15 cm to account for the waist), I had to fragment the pattern into 7 panels to fit them on the fabric . Making the pattern took me approximately one day, and cutting out the fabric has taken me two days... My rotary cutter was my saving grace.Jan 6, 2026
