Basically you draw someone else’s OC and potentially other people will draw your character as well! A lot of the other posts explain it well! Just have fun with it!

It’s a super super wholesome event that runs for the length of July. Essentially you make a profile on the site, choose a team to be apart of and earn points for said team by “attacking” others by drawing art of their characters. They can then “revenge” you if they so choose by drawing yours back. You do not pay at all to be apart of it, it’s just good wholesome fun.
Also don’t feel obligated to revenge anyone if you don’t have time or don’t want to, thanking them and letting them know it’s appreciated is enough ^^. Don’t feel pressured to draw heaps either, just go at your pace and don’t stress out about it cause all in all it’s meant to be for fun and it’s not worth burning yourself out over.
I highly recommend giving it a go! It’s a great space to experiment with different styles, types of characters and such!

Yeah what the others said. It's important to remember tho that if you draw someone's character, they're not obliged to draw yours back, so don't get disappointed if people don't revenge you (revenge means drawing someone's oc who previously drew yours). I've only participated once but got many attacks for it being my first time, because whenever someone on artfol asked others to drop their artfight profiles I commented the link to mine. That way a lot of people looked at my profile and bookmarked my characters. If you wanna participate I recommend doing that, there are always tons of posts like this during/before art fight :3

Youre getting assigned to one of two teams (team reveals are this Friday if I’m not mistaken)
And then you can draw other people ocs and get points for your team (it’s called an attack)
You can also revenge the attacks of other people
also if you’re thinking about participating, upload your ocs at least a week before it starts (and download the characters you want to attack), last year the website was either down or really slow for the first days hahah
