50 Ducks: 45. Rosa Donald!
Remember what I said back with Barks Scrooge? I'd been putting off all the significant ones because I was afraid that I'd burn through them all and end up with a bunch of side characters by the end. (Obviously that didn't happen, though, as there are still plenty of characters that I was meaning to draw but couldn't. I may draw them at some point after my retakes.)Anyway, I'm not the biggest fan of Don Rosa (mostly due to how he writes Donald) but obviously his version has to be included in a "challenge" like this one. This pose is referenced off The Dream of a Lifetime - Don Rosa has a tendency to give Donald this pose, I think? I'm really not sure what it is but every time I read a Rosa comic and see it I'm like "yeah... that's a Rosa Pose." I also really like how he draws happy ducks, so it wasn't a hard choice to figure out what to draw. (I've read all of his comics now, finished them a few weeks ago, but I do go back from time to time to the ones that I like or find interesting, such as The Dream of a Lifetime!)Jun 10, 2021
