The year of the snake
I wanted to draw something about the lunar year for a while and just yesterday I was able to finish this illustration.Here I'm featuring a character of mine named Geetu,the friendly demigoddess of the jungle from the universe of my webcomic Espero. Despite her looks, Geetu is a pacifist who tries to not rely on violence to solve conflict, tries to be at peace with both nature and humanity and does her best to support humans in need as well as her mother, the goddess of humanity, Hmaná.
She also acts as the exact opposite of her cousin, the demigod of the ocean, who is also a snake, but who is cruel and violent towards humans. From time to time they might clash, but thankfully, that's rare. People fear the snake from the ocean, but seek the help of the snake from earth.
I just felt it was time to dedicate art to some of the characters I hardly draw, for some reason, villains are funnier to work on, hahaha. My good guys deserve their art too :3Feb 3, 2025
