Musu, The Lady of the Waters

Born amongst the water people of Impera, Musu was considered the most beautiful of her kind despite her oddity for seeing things others couldn’t. Countless admirers would try their luck but none would take her heart as she only had one response:

“Only death shall take me.”

Even the King of her people’s mortal enemy would become smitten, trying his luck to no avail.

His extreme pride, however, could not take rejection and so he waged a war—fiercer than others before—against her people and ultimately executed her in front of them all.

Most people would think this was the end for her but death really did take her, turning her into a powerful spirit lingering in the sea.

Figured I'll make an OC that was related to the sea considering that's it mermay. She's inspired by Mami Wata (La Sirene). I wanted briefly touch on the elemental people of my world, so figured this would be a great start haha.May 22, 2023
