Beauregard 
This is Eethās business (and future romantic
) partner Beauregard West (they/them) they unfortunately donāt actually show up in the story Eeth is in but is often mentioned by characters throughout. Now that Iām actually designing background characters and stuff I think I may write one about their story, about how they built and set up the bakery or something, maybe the two of them falling in love
Beauregard has had every low paying job you can think of, they never found anything they really wanted to stick with or pursue so was constantly bouncing around from job to job. During the war they were very upset when they were not allowed to join the military because they are born afab and not a man, this led them to writing and publishing a lot of their frustrations, becoming a popular activist at the time. After the war they became more invested with romance writing and started writing novels and short stories but was shy about it since they were mostly know for being a activist and kept anything that was not political to themselves
When they remeet a high school fling, Eeth, they really pushed him to follow his dreams and together they built and now run the bakery together. When Eeth found out about Beauregardās novels he instantly asked to read them and became their biggest fan, being shocked when Beauregard explained they didnāt want to publish them out of worry and shyness. So Eeth currently is helping them publish one of their novels and being super supportive of their dreams just like they were of his
Honestly they are so cute and I love them
Edit: oop I forgot to mention that the scars are from a house fire that they were caught in about a decade before the story takes place, they used to be super self conscious of them but Eeth thinks they make them gorgeous so Beauregard now have a lot better relationship with them now lol Jul 5, 2023
