The Gray Garden !
I love the characters so much

Some other strong contenders are :
-Witch's Heart ( very interesting story and awesome musics )
-Waddanohara and the great blue sea ( same creator as The Gray Garden)
- Deltarune

My favourite indie game is Inside, absolutely gorgeous, the musics , the bg, the visual effects, it's not particularly complex and that's probably one of the reasons I love it

Also my fav starter is Rowlet

im not sure what’s the definition of an indie game aljdksjdk but i really liked missed messages!! it’s a short story game on steam and made me feel all the emotions in the spanned 20 minutes akjskdjdjdj
not sure about the pokémon though, i love evoli but i have no idea if it’s a starter pokémon, i’ve never really played any pokémon games

So far my favorite indie games are Superhot, Baba is You, Cross Code and Spookware. (It's too difficult to just choose one)
Idk if I have a favorite starter Pokémon, maybe Bulbasaur
