i cant name a lot of mine. actually its easier to name newer characters with no strings attached, than my 'main' crew who ive had for a while and now and i feel ill never find the 'perfect' names for

•I have a LOT of unnamed OCs because I'm terrible with names and at the same time a bit of a perfectionist, so I want them to have a hidden meaning and to sound good and a lot of other things, so yeah.

I think it all depends on who they are. If they’re a main character, they need a name (I once read a webcomic where I was 20 chapters in and the main character’s name was never mentioned. Not even ONCE). But if a character is shrouded in mystery, or if they aren’t important, they likely won’t need a name, only a title or epithet of sorts.

As a person who runs a DnD campaign with an unnamed BBEG and runs atleast 10 NPCs at a time (most of which are unnamed) constantly, I see nothing wrong
