Quick but important question!
I think about opening a Twitter account to spread the art and maybe get some more commissions (the whole covid thing punched hard), but I have a lot of struggle with this platform.
Is it good for artists? How can artists build an engagement on it? Is it good to get some commissions?
I'll be grateful for any help

For me twitter works fine because I draw only fanart and use hashtags, idk how it works for people who draw original illustrations... Also it's very cool that they have feature where you can combine some works under a theme of your choice (it's called "moments") and share the link to it, so people can see all your art in one place :>

β’It depends... Some say it's good, others say it's not, specially for small artists. If you have enough engagement, so it works fine. But small artists struggle a lot. And from what I know you can't use many hashtags (max of 2) in your post if your reach are small. Honestly I had a lot of struggle with that platform
and my TL was showing more art from people that I don't follow, instead of my own followers, not mention too much political stuff. And there is no edit button
