Day one: The omen

Dreams... something we have all had at one time. It can share us either a good moment, or not, but in the end you forget about it and can only wait until the next one is better than the last one. However, there are those people who are looking for the meaning of a dream and among them is me. You see, I've had the same dream for the past ten days in a row. I go up in a cloud until I reach another but above it there's, a garden? I get off the cloud and start walking a path illuminated by flowers until I reach a book supported by branches. Then the book tells me the next story:
The world has always been full of magic and this one is given many uses; be it for better or for worse, in it there are many kinds of magic but those who are in charge of natural changes are directed by the four elements, the sun and the moon. Each element has a guardian: the sun has a guardian, fire has a guardian, water has a guardian; air has a guardian and earth has a guardian. Each one has the task and the duty that it be used to maintain the balance and well-being of other living creatures.
At first, I thought it was a common story with nothing more to offer but when I started paying more attention to it I noticed something peculiar. In all that time I had not dared to say anything until then:
