Hello fellow artists, lill question for y'all! 
What's the most painful/unlikable part of ur art process?
Digital: lineart. I don't HATE it, I just find it boring y'know?
Traditional: the final sketch. It just stresses be out so much, I'm so scared of ruining the entire "precious" paper lol :')
Oh and mermay uptade: I've been skething this evening my entry for tomorrow's prompt, swamp mermaid. So I decided to take inspiration from the Celtic culture! Bc swamp-celts...? Idk haha

Digital: Flats. They take forever and cause my style is stupid I canโt use the full tool with out messing everything up

For digital art, I like coloring but, not as much. Half of the time I'm not sure what im doing :/

For me, as a digital artist, probably just the sketching part! Trying to get everything set up to my picky brain's content can get a little exhausting for me, even though I can still have fun with it. But lineart is fine for me because it's almost mindlessly following the sketch (though it can also get a bit exhausting eventually because I struggle to not worry as much on how clean it is :b), filling in solid color is just Entirely relaxing to me because at that point it's just coloring within the lines, and the coloring/shading/lighting part is incredibly fun for me!

I donโt like doing lineart that much so I try to avoid it by doing really thick lineart and hope nobody notices

Most painful is... File management and posting to so many social medias. I like it when they're up, posting and coming up with hashtags that may or may not get you shadowbanned on instagram is boring.
I think the text I add to go along with some pictures when posting is still part of the creative process, but not as fun. It's blehhh.

i used to hate digital lineart, but after getting better + realizing it doesnt have to be perfect and smooth im ok with it now :,D mostly i hate digital sketching. i prefer to scan in trad sketches.
traditional: probably just... posing. the initial full body sketch or anatomy/proportion fixing

โขColoring definitely, I feel confident with the way I draw but I think that because of my way of applying colors is that my drawings don't receive much attention

I hate doing lineart in digital and love it in traditional, idk, im digital spent most of the time ctrl z-ing the same line, but in traditional even though its harder to correct its easier to do nice lines in one go

I hate line art, Iโm still practicing but I always get upset that I donโt finish a work, tho im always looking forward to coloring and shading aack

I hate hair rendering lmao it takes so long and thereโs always a part that looks awful and I have to push through it

Lineart/inking itโs just so tedious and then it become annoying when you try to drop in your colors but theres a TINY hole somewhere that you gotta find so it stays in the section.

โขThe worst part is overlaying with the B H pencils because thereโs more value in them and itโs scary

โขDrawing a 3/4 view face in any medium. I hate it. It is the bane of my existence, and I understand it's just a mental block but it drives me nuts lmao

โขFor digital it would probably just be related to the art program itself, sai 2, that it doesn't really have any premade brushes, you have to make ur own so if I need something very specific I have to make a whole new brush for it :/

โขOh yeah, definitely line art. I have to do multiple attempts because I never know which style I want to go for, which brushes to use, what to draw inspiration from, so itโs definitely the longest part of the process for me.

Thatโs really interesting with the mermaid prompt and Iโd love to see it. Well the most painful part I can think of at the top of my head for drawing is lineart and background. Lineart is more because Iโm a perfectionist and take too long doing it while also being way too conscious that Iโm taking too long
