Background??
Haven’t worked on a background in forever but I think it would really add a lot to this. Any tips? Perspective and backgrounds aren’t really my strong suit so any advice is appreciated

First of all, you have an amazing LineArt, really defined and pleasant to see, Nice work!
Second of all, i like your style, and that being said, the only error i see is that the left hand is a bit off, if i was her, i would have reasons to be that pissed of, grabing that sword must be a pain, so i would recommend you to try and fix them
And for your background problems, my best tip is to use references, no one can draw background from the top of their head, so when drawing backgrounds, references are important. You can also use perspective grids, and use geometrical forms for sketching out elements of the background, and one of the most powerful tips is to keep the background simple, you don't want to have an extremely detailed background, because your character wouldn't stand out much and will fade into the background, so keep the background simple and your character detailed to make him, or her, the center of attention. Of course, you do whatever you want, these are just some tips that don't necessarily need to dictate your art, these are just things to keep in mind when drawing.
