I don’t want to draw curly hair ever again but then Kugui exists and I love her,,, pain.So next I’m gonna talk about her quirk! It’s called Spirit Summoner, which is pretty unique, considering I don’t think I’ve seen something similar in the fandom.
Spirit Summoner allows her to see Yokai, Yuurei, Ayakashi, and anything spirit-like! By writing a spirit’s name, she is able to summon them! Kinda like the summoning jutsu from Naruto. This allows spirits summoned to appear in the human world for a certain amount of time, enabling them to be able to interact with other humans physically.
A draw back is that each time she summons, it drains a certain amount of spiritual energy, making her more tired the more she uses it. The amount of spiritual energy consumed depends on how powerful the spirit she summoned is. Another con is that when summoning, the chosen spirit is able to refuse to be summoned; however, if they were to accept, then they would be entirely controlled by her. So it’s like an act of trust!
A side effect of her quirk is that whenever she sleeps, there is a chance for her soul to drift to the apparent realm, though it will go back when she wakes up. During this time, her physical is completely defenseless.
Her quirk is the combination of her parents’s quirks. Her father’s is basically the same as hers except he can’t summon anyone. Her mother’s is that anything that she can draw with ink with her left hand, it will come to life (I think this is based on a Japanese book, though I don’t remember which one).
Also, this isn’t really part of her quirk, as everyone can do this, but if one’s bond with a spirit is strong enough, the spirit can lend them their power for a certain amount of time. However, doing this can cause strain on the body, perhaps to the point of passing out or even death.
Wow, her quirk is complicated. Well, I’ve always been interested in the supernatural and Japanese mythology so I guess that’s why?
