Dummy in a cardigan

Jokes aside, I struggled a tad with making a self portrait. I was putting in a lot of things I see as flaws with how I look, and chose when I look messy and unkempt instead of when I try to make myself look nice.

The warzone of moles. Eyebags that hasn't disappeared in 12 years. Far too pale, making my black eyebrows and eyelashes clash heavily. Messy hair from waking up. The roots showing from when I dyed my hair pink three months ago. How I unfortunately sweat heavily when I get stressed from going to the store. How I don't like that my jaw and lips are small. The red fingertips with lots of tiny scarring.

But in the end when I finished it up, I felt a little bit better. Granted that it's stylized and all... I still felt that when putting it down on a drawing, it didn't look absolutely terrible.Sep 6, 2025
