Do you or anyone you know mint nft's?

I have been doing a heap of research into the impacts and options for clean Nft's. After reading a lot of sides on the topic and trying to understand what the environmental impacts of minting actually are, I have decided to jump in with a POS based cryptocurrency system.

Do you have any experience with different block chains and marketplaces?
Currently I am thinking that hic et nunk (did I write that correctly πŸ€”) is a good choice but I would love to hear anyone else's experiences.

**Apparently this can be a very divisive area for artists and rife with misinformation so although I am interested in hearing both sides of this discussion (for or against) all comments and responses need to be respectful or they will be removed.

(Apologies if I got any of the terms wrong I'm still working on understanding how this all goes together)

I HIGHLY recommend not going into crypto or NFTS, not only are they absolutely terrible for the environment, they also don’t really work. You don’t earn much money if you go into the business of buying or selling. They also don’t really help the artist either, as many try to claim, as a lot of companies will steal artist work and sell it as a NFT despite the artist’s wishes.

Forgive me for asking but what's a POS based cryptocurrency system?

I only know that people trade crypto like stocks, but I don't know how people accept payment in them. I don't think regular banks accept crypto.

Also the servers all alone are using tons of electricity 24/7 - they generate serious amount of heat so they need constant A/C cool down and also creating the hardware isn’t environment friendly either. And top of that come all the things that was mentioned above. I don’t thing there is such thing as clean NFT, it is a shady and not-environment friendly business. (Tbh using any kind of app on any kind of phone or the whole internet is not environmentally friendly either.)

Im pretty sure crypto, biticoin, nfts ect are bad for the environment because people buy so much stuff to get them that they drain store supplies, use tonnes of electricity and use up resources

Also nfts are filled with art theft apparently
