Here’s the boy genius himself! My homage to the series

I absolutely adore the show, it was part of my childhood! Every episode is a treat and I think the animation still holds up well today! I’m also really proud that the show was produced and animated in Texas! I was surprised to learn tjat DNA productions was located in Dallas! I could’ve gone and visited! It’s a shame they went out of business and Jimmy never got to see a 4th season. I would love to see it come back. I also didn’t know that the movie was nominated for an Oscar for best animated film in 2001, going up against Monsters Inc. and Shrek! Thats insane! Although it didn’t win, it still won a few Emmys!

You know when I was modeling him, I never realized just how big his head is. I mean they mention it a lot in the show, but man, it really is big. With his hair, his head is just a little taller than his body! Gotta store the smarts somewhere after all. One of the more difficult bits of his model was his eyes. It took me quite a while to get it just right. Although my goal wasn’t to exactly copy the show’s model, I still wanted my model to be faithful to the show, just with some design and proportions changes that I personally think look better.
