My mom saw me drawing my oc Subo and accidentally mistaked him for a woman (he is cis man). I told her he’s a man and she got confused and assumed he’s gay because his design has pink in it. I told her he’s straight. She’s got confused at that a straight man is pink lol.Jun 3, 2023

I don’t assume she’s homophobic. She’s older and any knowledge she has of lgbtq is from decades ago. It makes sense to assume it since men liking pink was common thing to mean a man is gay I think.
