lyrics from Earthly Delights, ive been listening to this song on repeat for several days. theres just something about it, the layering and crescendo to build tension that pays off on the most badass lyrics of all time—

imagine having the absolute BALLS to tell a higher power about how much theyve indirectly caused themself pain. imagine looking them in the eyes with all the rage you can muster and saying "i know you envy us, you fucker, you created us for selfish reasons, because you're lonely without us, and you find joy in watching us suffer and die. you did that to yourself." thats what this song is and its SO powerful.
