I have to make another piece using acrylics for art class. Oh how I hate acrylics. Does anyone have any tips for when painting with them? Cause I genuinely have no idea what im doing

Ooh acrylics can be super fun actually! I personally like to think of them in layers (like in digital art). So I would add the base color, then highlights and shadows on top, same as digital. Add a different layer of paint for each part of the process. It's also nice because you can easily cover up any mistakes.
