As an artist, the most fun part about being one is to imagine non human things as human (take a look at my feed/timeline and you’ll see a lot of humanization drawings) but, I think the scariest thing about this AI stuff is the anthropomorphizing and humanization. On a creative artistic level, it’s fun and cute but, on a mental health level it’s concerning . Especially with apps like Replika where you can humanize and give your chatbot a human body and customize them. There’s already reports of people getting emotionally attached to AI to the point Replika had to ban NSFW Roleplay with the chatbots.May 9, 2023

And after watching the Steven Universe scene where he vented to a cactus and it ended up becoming a monster and mimicking everything he said, I DEFINITELY don’t think it’s a good idea for AI to be talking to someone with mental health issues.
