I ask weekly OC questions
. I usually ask a simple questions about them, give examples where I do onfo dumping of OCs I have and people are free to answer the questions with their own OCS! People have lots of interesting characters and I followed a few creators this way!

I like either to see many illustrations of them with thoughtful captions that kinda put a story together over time, or a comic

Love love love oc infodumps, especially when worldbuilding related. And on the other hand I don't have any interest in OCs that just exist in a vacuum and/or without a backstory.
As for art, i way prefer oc interactions and art that tells me something about the oc than reference sheets.

i like my muturals ocs a lot when there is enough visual material for them, but not too much going on with their whole lore. i had one mutural that created tons of ocs daily, had a whole universe for them, a whole spectrum of all kinds of human beings in this universe etc. and it was too much to handle for an outsider. if you are into your characters and you want to create something this huge for them - go for it.
but pleeeease, dont overshare the infos. keep it simple and clean with the things that really matter, make story-highlights and / or hashtags and sprinkle some random infos or funsie stuff and small comic illustrations here and there if you will, but dont throw them at your followers in tons.

•I personally like it when people talk about them in comments of related questions. Tho my personal favourite way to share mine is to write character songs for them. Ones that are basically told by the characters themselves. I feel like I can describe my characters in songs way better than just writing them down. They themselves show their feelings, emotions, believes, desires, etc.

Like it a lot of there a small info's or backstories in the post description. Just sometimes annoying when there isn't much but it's good story and I wanna know more xD. But mostly there are old posts to check out and sometimes it's also possible to just ask in the comments

For me is that artists draw their OCs in someway that tell something about the OCs themselves in their artwork, because most of the time people would likely to pay more attention to the artwork than reading long descriptions.

ama's r always fun, plus its fun 2 just gather bits n pieces from captions. I'm in a few discord servers 4 art and oc talk so I get 2 read a lot of infodumps hehe. I can't listen to TOO much info dumping at once, my brainll turn off, but its definitely efficient lol. I like Making alignment charts and like mene redraws
