I’m so fkin sad rn it feels so damn shitty posting art over and over again on different platforms only to be the only one retweeting over and over so it’d be seen “just in case” it wasn’t seen cause of the algorithms and still having no one at all share or like… like I look at my posts and I’m the only retweets from art account and main account, not even my own friends share it EVER even if I show them my art by sending the posted tweet, or the other friends that follow insta, the same friends that are like “why don’t u make tshirts why don’t you make stickers why don’t you this and that I’d totally buy” (they def wouldn’t cause my art isn’t their style that they’d wear as print) BUT THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS JUST SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA???? Like you all KNOW I wanna do art as a job you know I want commissions the simplest smallest thing you can do that costs nothing is to share my art???? We’re literally real life close friends… how do i expect strangers to share my art when friends don’t
Anyway strayed from the main point which is it feels fucking shit pouring hours and hours into artworks feeling super proud thinking “this is finally the one it’ll be seen and loved” and… nothing… feels like talking to the void except it’s not a void there’s people that don’t care and I’m so tired I wanna quit, I barely have the energy to make art let alone act like my own social media manager tryna post on all kinds of different platforms hoping at least on ONE of them I’ll be lucky to be a BIT seen and watching nothing work over and over I have no energy and feel like cryingFeb 11, 2023
