Appendicitis
(May 2020)A painful swelling of the appendix. Symptoms include pain around the navel and then in the lower right side of the abdomen, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and fever. If untreated, the appendix can burst and secrete pus and cause a systemic infection; in that case, surgical intervention is required.Apr 22, 2021
