there’s one thing i always want to make clear with marni and it’s that i don’t want his story to become one of finding his “real family” (his birth parents) because.....well i like what he’s got going on already! he doesn’t know them, and he doesn’t care to go looking for them! “bio family = real family” is a concept i’m not too keen on, because wtf he loves his dad more than life itself and that makes him real family!!! who cares if they’re blood related or not, marni was raised and cared for by him and chooses to stick around him so guess what? they’re a cute little family!!!!! i’ll do everything in my power to keep it that way give me found/chosen family or give me death!!

anyways just got reminded that his dad’s name is canonically arilos and i think that’s fun.
