I haven’t painted flowers in what feels like forever so it was interesting painting one after so long~
I still have no idea how to paint the leaves in the background in a way that doesn’t look distracting or awkward :T

I love this painting! You really captured the different tones and highlights and shadows in the sunflower really well! Maybe add some more highlights to the leaves for a contrast with the dark green you used. This looks amazing though, great job!
