Story time

Lumber Slumber is an old and lonely town, most of the citizens are old folks with their grandkids. The people there loves to sleep, they even have a sleep god to pray to. Although the town looks cozy and calm, it all turns upside down when night falls. The bird stop chirping and the forest around the town gone dead silence. The town has a rule of “Not allowed to leave your house after 8pm” but never explains why.
Raja is an eleven year old boy, he was sent to his grandparents’ house during the weekdays due to his busy parents. He’s an night owl, doesn’t like to sleep much and was playing video games till 3 o’clock. He then got hungry and decided to sneak into the kitchen and grab some snacks back to his bedroom. Suddenly he heard some rumble on the way to kitchen, he saw some blurry black figure beside the opened fridge. As Raja tried to see more clearly he turned on the lights and saw it. A two headed creature with three limbs and two frog legs. He was frightened by what he saw. The creature whispered “ʸᵒᵘ ˢʰᵒᵘˡᵈ’ᵛᵉ ˢᵗᵃʸ ᵃˢˡᵉᵉᵖ ᵇᵒᶦ” as it starts to grab him by its elongated hand with three long fingers and dragged him into its mouth.
