Stand with Ukraine

hello!! a bit of a different post this time, but I felt like I should post this as someone who knows someone from Ukraine and someone from Russia, both I consider to be my friends.

I think all of us can agree that what’s happening right now with Ukraine and the Russian government is devastating. I can’t fathom what someone in Ukraine is feeling right now, how scared they are if they’re going to be bombed next and how people they know might never be able to meet each other again. How many will become refugees and have to travel to other countries for a new home after theirs was decimated.

as a bystander I can only hope that people can support Ukraine and take this seriously. war is a reality and not a funny joke to make. I also hope that people understand that Russia is NOT attacking Ukraine, PUTIN is. the entire country of Russia and majority, if not all of its citizens do not want war like Putin does.
