Some thoughts about pre-plague Xori
Xori's specialty is nature magic, but it is by no means a soft and gentle thing. Because for every peony lifting its petals to the sun there is a hurricane howling along the coast, or an earthquake shaking the bones of the earth. And Xori's magic tends towards the latter. Though she cannot remember them, her people are druids of the desert, well aware of how harsh and unforgiving nature can be, and their magic reflects that. Nature takes as much as it gives, harms as much as it heals, and holds a deep well of power for those who can master it..
Before her death, Xori had more proclivity for offensive based magic- often using it in concert with her spear to pose a danger to any who might cross her. She utilized many elemental magics, tapping into different realms of nature to do so- but she always loved channelling the power of a desert storm the best.Apr 22, 2021
