Here’s a question! If you have, or have struggled with anxiety, how do you cope with it? What things work and don’t work for you?

I have a breathing app that was helping me out a bit (it’s called State) since for me it mostly showed up in feeling like I couldn’t take deep enough of a breath. But now that it’s gotten more frequent, I know I personally need some new ways to manage, and maybe someone else might too :)

I chew on stuff and listen to music, but I don’t use apps
Medito app and drugs
In terms of app, try checking out the creator Stem4 on Appstore or Google Play, it has some great apps for anxiety, depression and sh
In particular, the sh one is the most devoloped out of all and, even though you are asking for anxiety, Calm harm (this is the name of the app) has some activities like breath, express yourself, random, relax and others, which have other activities in these categories, so you have 500+ different activities
Or you can try the #selfcare app (with the hashtag)
Then there are some techniques like the muscular relaxment or the progressive exposition at the anxiety trigger (but for this last one pls, if you have a therapist talk about it with them before, otherwise it will result in you having new triggers or having a crisis)
Stay safe ♡
Well for me it works if I concentrate of what is real and what can actually harm me or can happen. Like what is rational. Important is that you don't be mean to yourself while doing that. Accept anxiety it's a part of living and is not weak to have it.

I wish you best of luck with your coping.
And if breathing helps you could broaden that a bit. Like not only feeling your breath but your body too. How do you sit were does it touch the ground or an object. Is that object carrying you. Grounding yourself. How are your limbs do they feel light or heavy are they straight or bend. That can set you mind at ease. If it's not making you more anxious. Not all works for everyone.
