[Amaranthine] works in a team of four, under the guidence of a tough, older superhero mentor. She defends multiple cities, wielding her sword and some light magic. As a superhero, she feels she must always be the best, and always has to put on a smile for the public. They have to believe it will be ok. Dubbed the 'Brilliant Purple Knight', she is very intelligent and crafty, relying more on problem solving and careful calculation rather than brute strength. Helping people indeed makes her happy, and she cares about her friends and the lives she saves very much.
What are these thoughts? These feelings? Though many people are grateful, there's still plenty of trash in this world. Even those who aren't criminals act so cruel and ungrateful. They're not afraid to show it either. Surrounded by all this negativity, it was only a matter of time that [Amaranthine] started to hold resentment towards the world around her. Viewing all these terrible people as filth, she found herself questioning whether or not these people deserved to be saved at all. Whether or not the world should be saved. But she had to stay silent. She couldn't reveal her true feelings to anyone. That wouldn't be very heroic, would it? She doesn't want to feel this way, but she can't help it. This lead to the darkness taking its roots inside her. Sometimes it consumed her completely, but she had to force it back. Would this darkness ever truly show its face?
