You guys wanted the tall demon lady so I now present you the tall demon lady. 6’7 normally but 7’0 with the horns hehe. Info dump below if you’re interested!—-
Demons were probably one of my favorite things to flesh out for the universe. Lots of little rules and different social attitudes, very fun too write out! Blaire is a higher up ruler in the underworld, although she’s essentially defected not for cool rebellious reasons but because she found a small pink girlfriend on the surface world.
She has two sisters, Nerine and Emmeranne. All three of them are representative of See no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil, with Blaire being speak no evil. Because of that, she has no mouth. Nerine has no ears and is deaf, and Emmeranne lacks eyes and is blind. The three of them are essentially the equivalent of princesses but the underworld isn’t structured as a monarchy. Their status is partially determined by their abilities, and a high rank often means they’re a much more powerful demon. This is also mirrored in the extent of their markings. Blaires markings cover both her arms and legs, as well as her chest (shown off on Blythe in her ref)
Blaire just,, hates everything. I mean she loves Blythe and she loves rats but that’s about it. She can communicate through sign language, but often chooses not to just because she really doesn’t enjoy socializing. It’s not just her though, being apathetic and antisocial is very common among demons. She does like Blythes friend Theia because her familiar is a rat, and she’s alright with Mara and Étoile. She’s definitely not fond of pandora but isn’t rude to appease Blythe.
She doesn’t need to eat or sleep (Not can she eat) but she’ll mimic the actions to try to fit into Blythes routines. Instead of kisses, she’ll rub her face against Blythe like a cat, it’s very cute. Blythe swears she’s even hear Blaire purr before, which is up for debate. Affection, physical or not, is frowned upon in the underworld but Blythe is such a love bug that her need to be held and cuddled with has motivated Blaire to get better being affectionate. She’s a good girlfriend I promise, she’s just really weird.Nov 14, 2021
