There are really still people who don’t understand transgenderism is a genuine recognised medical condition? Need I remind people that transition has been medically recognised as the only viable treatment for over 100 years? If it were a mental illness, surely they would have found a treatment by now. I mean, most of us did try therapy and medication for it before determining there really was no cure. “Nobody should want to take a knife to what they were born with”— we didn’t! But we had to, for our health and safety. It’s not good to go around with a body your brain doesn’t recognise. It causes not only mental but physical health problems.
