Turning my pet fish into a dude

So I have a pet beta fish named Wrath. He has quite the personality: hates peas, loves cucumbers, actually he eats almost anything I feed him, goes to wait for food every time he sees me, attacks my finger, has a special sleep spot, chill with snails somehow


Design choices:

Bettas are usually imported from Malaysia or Thailand, so he’s drawn as a Malaysian punk.
He got fin rot from the bad petsmart water he was in and his fins never fully grew back- so he’s going to be a little battle worn! Also he is blue and red, so his hair will probably be red
