The Circus

Here is an illustration I did a year ago for a school competition. This time it's not based on any particular story, just inspired by those moments right before a theatre play, when there is fidgety murmur among the spectators and dark and deep quiet on the stage, and tremor of excitement in the air.
The colours didn't turn out as intended because stupid me didn't think through, that working solely at night and under white light could not possibly be a good idea, and till this day it makes me upset.
(Other thing is I have absolutely no idea how colour theory works hehe)
Nevermind, still it is a piece I personally enjoy very much.
