Do you people follow artists for their art (style, composition, colors, etc) or for their lore (ocs, story, etc), or both?

I follow for the style all the way
Wish I could get into other people’s OC lore but it tends to be hard for me outside of a story medium like written fiction or comics, which not everyone wants/has to do, yknow?

•Same as you, it starts with art style and stuff and then I'll be like "oh wait this character appears several times through the account" and then I'll go on a deep dive on the oc lore lmfaoooo

I usually follow for art style, like if someone uses colours or cool shapes that I like, or if someone’s art has a certain theme or aesthetic to it that I think is cool. Otherwise I follow for fanart lmao

•Not into character art so I usually don't follow character artists unless they have a similar aesthetic to the stuff I have and or if they're a friend so not into the lore... Just here for inspo and references half the time from the people I follow

Usually I'm drawn in by their art! I feel like oc lore isn't something that's as obvious on the surface and usually what draws me in is an artists art.
