Seeing that there's more info about the pilot to a Disney+ adaptation of Holes, and...oh dear.
-The main character's name is Hayley. If her last name isn't her first name spelled backwards, then they've lost the plot.
-Is Sissy gonna be the Mr. Sir stand-in? The Warden is in this with his motivation being the same based on what's been described, but like Richard Kelly's unused script for the film adaptation, he's a guy. Dang.
-Guessing that Kitch is gonna be the Pendanski stand-in.
-Aight, which one of these camper girls is supposed to be the Zero stand-in? None of these character descriptions I'm seeing here exactly scream Zero, but I'm guessing "Shrimp" will fit the bill.
-If the producers really wanted to seemingly diverge from the source material, then they would've used the best aspects from the aforementioned unused script. because it was absolutely bonkers: https://www.youtube.com/embed/Uf5xSg6IhKA
