Hello!!!! I finished The Raven Boys Last Night and I need to share my thoughts, beware!!!!
I started reading the first thirty pages a few months ago and then I completely forgot abt it until this week. When I first started it my standards were pretty low, idk I just didn’t expect much from it. With Blue’s whole kissing thing I thought the book would surround Her and Gansey and the rest of the characters would be rlly flat, but that’s not what happened and I’m really glad it did!!!
I already knew beforehand that it has some takes on Welsh folklore so I assumed it took place in Wales. I was wrong. It mentioned Henrietta, Virginia and I thought “I wonder if that’s a place guys in Wales”
I loved the banter between Ronan and Adam and Gansey and Noah, it was a slay.
When Noah mentioned that he was dead for seven years, NO ONE BATTED AN EYE. that whole chapter I was so confused why they just glossed over that??? And then everyone was surprised when they found his body????
I had no care for any of the chapters involving Whelk. He wasn’t interesting to me idk
I had mixed feeling abt Blue when Iat first but towards the end I really liked her!!!
