Hello fellow artists!

Are you looking for a fun little event to participate during the month of December? Do you like art exchanges? Maybe drawing other people's OCs? WELL LOOK NO FURTHER, WINTER FEST IS HERE.

Event Overview

Each participant will be randomly paired with another participant of the event and be their secret artist. The secret artist will prepare a piece of art in the spirit of the winter season to be handed out by the new year!


Event Rules

1) You may submit any type of ‘creation’ that can be considered art (examples: drawing, painting, animation, sculpture, video)

2) When revealing your art, make sure to use the tag #winterfest2k22!

3) The use of vulgar, crude, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise discriminatory and/or offensive is not permitted. Failure to do so will default to getting removed from participating in the event and be reported.

4) You must have an account that has posts containing your own artwork.

5) The artwork must be done by you. Art theft is not welcomed at this event.

6) If there is an emergency and you’re unable to participate for any reason after the December 1st preparation deadline, DM me, @Lalzy, to get you a Backup Secret Artist.

Backup Secret Artist

We do our best to ensure that nobody leaves anyone without an art piece, but sadly anything can happen that could prevent an artist from making their deadline. The purpose of Backup Secret Artist to fill in the holes just in case!

Event Timeline

17-28th: November Applications Open

29-30th: November Sending out everyone’s matches through DMs

1-31st: December Art Preparation

1st January: Reveal your art to your art buddy by posting it on Artfol, Instagram and/or any other social media you may want to showcase it in!
