Photoshop, we had to use it at school and it slowed down my work flow so much, couldn't make the settings work the way I wanted to, there's too much clutter in the program (not really surprising since it wasn't meant for painting originally). Maybe if I had more time to use it I'd have another opinion, but let's not even talk about the price.
MS paint.
Flip a clip is literally unusable 😕
There was this online drawing app called Didlr with a growing community of artists that I was really getting into
Only problem was all of the artwork was created on their servers and stored there. Long story short is they grew so big their servers couldn't handle the storage demands anymore so they closed it down indefinitely and hundreds of artists had no access to any of the work they created
Oh, and Krita too. I know a lot of people think it's a great free art program but when I tried it there was a really weird glitch that ruined the experience for me. And the layout was really confusing too
Definitely Gimp. Tbf I think it's supposed to be more of a simple photo editor rather than a program you're supposed to draw in, but... it's still so bad.
I was never a fan of Fire Alpaca either, it was like Medibang but worse.
Ibis paint x, for some time I considered procreate to be even worse because it kept acting like I'm holding the stylus at an angle when I wasnt. But now I got used to it a little. Ibis paint x doesnt have that many options and I'm used to Krita (which is amazing showstopping spectacular and has animation features way better than procreates)
Probs, Krista, Medibang, fire alpaca (all due to the optimization), and definitely Photoshop (cause fuck adobe)
Something about how the brush engine works in CSP just doesn't click with me 😞. I dunno what it is, but me and it just kinda don't get along. I dont like to call it bad, it's just... Not for me.
When paint tool sai got big, I didn't understand it.... Again, something about how it felt just didn't work for me. No idea if I'd still think that these days (it's been like, 12 years since I last properly tried to use it I think...), But at the time I wasn't a fan.

But the real garbage tier program.... Is Photoshop. Adobe are miles behind a lot of their competition when it comes to digital drawing. It almost feels like they don't care about the community? Photoshop didn't even have rotatable canvases until CC I swear.... and the hand tool is garbage because it makes things look Blurry when you rotate. When freeware, a program that costs $50, and a $10 iPad app all outclass a $120+ a year program.... You're doing something wrong.
Fresco feels like Adobe tried to make a specific art program to kill procreate, but its pretty bare bones in comparison. I think they're still rather allergic to the concept of brush stabilisation, which is standard on every other program now....
At first it was Krita as it wouldn’t sync with my tablet and glitch quite badly, making it every hard to use but since they have updated a few years later, it’s okay to use!
I’m also going to say Photoshop- I hate how they change everything up when an big update happens, just make it easy to use gosh dang it! Also subscription can kiss my butt! Pirate that thing! >:0
I really hate auto desk sketchbook, I could not tell you what exactly I don’t like about it but it’s just not for me
Um, when I didn't have some of the more fancy ones, it was the DA online art tool. But with the fancy ones, Photos hop and Adobe Illustrator. I loath them. I can't say Krita because I used to do some rough animations sometimes.
Ok my take: I’m gonna get mad hate for this but ibis paint x, autodesk, and Krita. I did not care for any of those.I refuse to draw on ibis paint or Krita. 😭Autodesk is better than those but there’s issues with it that I made me personally not like it.
Colortherapy 🤢 although i will admit if it wasnt for that crappy app i would probably never have gotten into digital art, so i guess i should say thanks lol
Out of the five I used, it was probably Paint Tool SAI that was my least favorite. Could never really get the hang of it in the end.
