Is it ok to have a regular name like Jayden for a alien, demon and so on for a character?

yes and i think it’s so entertaining when the wildest characters have the most basic name you could think to give a person

•Yessss! If you want a regular name, do it! Plus, I think it gives them a bit of a human side (which works if you make them do a lot of human things). If you really want a alieny or demony name, try a name randomizer, or fellow internet friends :) hope that helps, and you're day is wonderful

•Gonna just repeat what others have said and say that you should name them however you'd like :3 one of my favorite video games is made by Nintendo, and they give some of their aliens normal names like Brittany and Charlie. If they can do it so can you!

If you want some reasons for it: their name is simply unpronounceable in a human language, so to interact with humans they just... Adopted a human name. Or someone gave them a human name so they had something they could call your oc.
In order to better fit in with a human society, they decided to take a human name (this is something some immigrant groups have done in the past, for various reasons)
... Or they just liked it and went "this will be my name from now on".

I personally would say name them whatever you like - it’s your character, and if you like a name then use it! Frick anyone who says not to use it
