Not an expert but one of the things that helped me was just downloading other art programs and testing their brushes. Like some programs make it easier than others to paint like SAI, paintstorm, clip studio has a whole library of brushes. Just yeah experimentation. Bc sometimes it's easy to get stuck in the same program and same brushes. Even downloading new brushes for the program you use might help? All the best with it !
