Be ready for an explosion of colorsDo you sometimes just close your eyes for a second and get a very distinct picture of color combination or even a character or specific shape then you have to draw it? That is something that happens to me quite often and honestly I love it even tho it can be a bit overwhelming and intrusive sometimes because I absolutely do not control it!

yep ! sometimes I’m able to see entire character designs with some details and a colour palette but I have a lot of trouble translating what I imagine onto paper/canvas. It always turns out different than how I originally saw it.

It does happen to me sometimes! I don't just Get Ideas very frequently but sometimes if I'm lucky and in those cases it'll look something like what you're describing.
In most cases I have to think and Idea up carefully and I still tend to visualize it in my head
