Kamisato Ayaka
The idea came to me when thinking about what painting to start the new year with. I asked a friend for a female hardworking genshin character that is preferably on the younger side. They suggested Ayaka and honestly it couldn’t have been a better choice.When starting to gather material for the concept i stumbled upon her vision story which gave me the perfect idea.
She used to be a very energetic child but had to become very mature and intelligent in order to help her family out. I thought about how children must’ve liked cherry blossoms a lot in Inazuma so I wanted it to have a specific meaning.
„Work hard for what you want to achieve but never forget your roots“.
The cherry blossoms resemble her past and her energetic side as a child which was the first step to making her who she is.
There are a few snowflakes to show that she is working forward to something different. And she will achieve it but she shouldn’t let her passions die.
